Processing Acknowledgement Form (PAF)
Before we mail on your behalf, for the first time, you will need to contact our office to send you an electronic PAF (Processing Acknowledgement Form), granting us permission to mail on your organization’s behalf. There is no fee for this, but is required by the USPS to register your organization as the mail owner, and Acculist as the company processing, sorting and mailing on your behalf.
Please contact our office if you plan on mailing in the next 30 days, as this process can take upwards of 5 business days from start to finish.
USPS Bulk Mail Rates
As of today, January 8, 2026, USPS Rates are as follows:
First-class letters
$0.78
First Class Presorted Standard letters:
(Requires 500 mailpieces for discount)
(TBD) but typically a few pennies less than current First Class stamps
Standard Pre-Sorted Marketing mail letters
(Requires 200 qualifying addresses for discount)
$ 0.37-$0.41
Non-Profit letters
(Requires 200 qualifying addresses for discount)
$0.19-$0.22
USPS has standards of dimensions and weight of each mailpiece to determine if it is considered a letter, flat or otherwise, which, in turn, directly affects postage rates. 90% of the bulk mail we process is considered “letters” and the above mentioned rates would apply. These same rates apply for postcards for bulk mail purposes. If your mailpiece is larger than USPS standards for a letter, it would most likely be classified as a “Flat”, with postage rates increasing, but still much lower than if you mailed it yourself. For any such mailings, we would have to process a 10-piece sample of the completed mailpiece to quote you on the postage amount.
95% of the bulk mail we typically process falls under one of two categories:
Standard marketing mail letters
or
Non-Profit Letters
For-Profit organizations can mail solicitations to customers, or potential customers at Standard PreSorted Marketing rates. For 501c3 Non- Profit Organizations, it is cheaper to apply for Non-Profit status with the USPS to be eligible for their lower, non-profit rates.

Please note that this process can take anywhere from 5 business days to 2 months, depending on the time submitted and how busy the Postal system is at that time of year. This form should remain on file as long as you mail something using our system at least once every 1-2 years, otherwise you will need to resubmit for your non-profit status again.
